HSF has allowed me to draw on my passion for helping orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). Being of African descent and working in the international development field, I know the plight of these children and am aware of the power of ‘a village’ to raise and give them hope for a bright future. Despite the challenging economic environment, HSF has done an incredible job providing a continuum of care and support for OVCs in Ghana and Liberia. Hence, I am an HSF volunteer, contributing my time and effort to making a positive difference to the OVCs lives.
