"​Originally from South Africa, I was educated as a construction Cost Engineer. Over the last 30 years, along with my husband and then two children, we have lived in 8 countries, doing development work with the United Nations. Africa and the needs of that amazing continent will however remain a top priority in our hearts. Over a period of 7 years I worked with children in elementary school libraries and saw again the importance of education and unlocking potential in children at a young age."
