AbijahAbijah's mother passed away just two days after giving birth due to complications from Hepatitis B. Now, Abijah is being cared for by her aunt, Jacklynel, at their home on Du-port road in Paynesville City.
Losing her mother at such a young age has been difficult for Abijah, and it has been a challenge for her aunt to provide the care she needs. Fortunately, the HSF-Liberia organization has stepped in to help by providing monthly baby formula and medical supplies. Abidjan Stanford, Abijah's aunt, said, “I am grateful to God first and the HSF family for their tireless efforts towards her support and pray that they continue.” |
Gabriel and GodfreyGabriel and Godfrey are twins who lost their mother to respiratory distress and aspirational pneumonia when they were just three days old. Their auntie Tene is their caregiver, and she resides in Montserrado County.
Tene is grateful for the assistance provided by the HSF in caring for the children. She expressed her appreciation, saying, "“The HSF has been so helpful to me in caring for the children; therefore, I am so happy and thankful for their support, and I pray that they continue to support the children. Without their consistent support, I cannot afford to take care of these children." |
EliseElise was only six days old when her mother passed away from eclampsia and metabolic diabetes. Since then, her grandmother, Mrs. Helena Smith, has been taking care of her in Paynesville City, Montserrado County, Liberia. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties in Liberia, this unexpected loss was very challenging for the grandmother. However, she was fortunate to be connected with the Health Support Foundation (HSF), which has provided regular assistance with baby formula, clothing, and medication. According to Helena, "I am grateful for the HSF's generous support to Elise, and I pray that they can continue to do more."

Rita and FetaRita and Feta are twins who lost their mother during childbirth. They currently reside with their grandmother, Patricia, on Clay Street in Monrovia, Liberia. Patricia has taken on the role of caretaker, but as a single grandmother, she struggles to meet the daily needs of the children.
Per Patricia, “Being a single grandmother, I struggle with the daily needs of the kids. Coming in contact with HSF's Social Worker was a prayer answered. The kids went through the vetting process and enrolled in the program. The life of kids are better and joyful. Food is available each day due to regular food supply from the Foundation. Also, medical assistance is provided when needed and clothing. I thank God almighty and the Foundation for their support and I pray that they continue the good work.” |
AbelIn 2018, Abel suffered the tragic loss of his mother, who passed away during childbirth due to internal bleeding. He now resides with his grandfather, Mr. Isaac, in Du-port Road Paynesville City, Montserrado County Liberia. As an elderly man, Mr. Isaac struggles to meet the necessary resources to care for Abel. Fortunately, HSF has come to their aid, providing monthly supplies of food, clothing, and medication. Thanks to the foundation's support, Abel's quality of life has significantly improved, and Mr. Isaac expresses his gratitude for their assistance.

JoefinaJoefina is a three-year-old girl who lives with her Aunt Patience. Patience learned about the HSF Program when a social worker was collecting data in their area. Joefina's mother passed away in Ivory Coast while on her way to the hospital after experiencing birth complications. Shortly after, Joefina was brought to live with her aunt in Liberia. Patience is grateful for the HSF Program's interventions in Joefina's life, and she feels blessed by God Almighty. Thanks to the program, Joefina is now attending school. Patience prays that the organization will continue to generate more financial support, which will empower Joefina to obtain higher education.

NaomiNaomi is currently staying with her grandmother at Boys Town in Margibi County, Liberia. Sadly, Naomi's mother, Gertrude, passed away due to postpartum hemorrhage. Given the current economic situation in Liberia, it is particularly challenging for Naomi's grandmother to provide for her needs.
According to Naomi's grandmother, elderly women like her have no source of income, which makes it even more difficult to meet Naomi's needs. However, the situation improved when Gertrude learned about HSF Liberia. The organization accepted Naomi's case and has since taken full responsibility for her education and food. As a result, Naomi's grandmother is very happy and grateful to the HSF family. She prays that the foundation will continue its good work. |
ProsperousMeet Prosperous S, a 2-year-old who lives in Peugeot Garage, Monrovia, Liberia with her grandmother Helena. Sadly, Prosperous' mother passed away due to hemorrhage after delivery at the J.F.K medical hospital. However, things have improved for Prosperous since Helena was introduced to the HSF program by a social worker in their community. With the help of HSF, Prosperous now receives regular meals and can attend school with a smile on her face. Per Helena, "Prosperous is excited to go to school with a smile. Therefore, I am grateful to the Almighty God for the organization and its members and hope more support come to Liberia that will help and make our children learn and have quality education.”
