Jennifer Karimi Njiru is a highly qualified and dedicated professional with 16 years of experience in Diplomacy and International Relations. She has extensive knowledge and skills in conflict prevention, peace-building efforts, and people-to-people relations. Jennifer is passionate about advancing social well-being, particularly for women and children in challenging circumstances. She has a range of skills and competencies which include Analytical skills, Gender Mainstreaming, as well as Administration and Human Resources Management, Planning, and Training. Jennifer has been the Director of Foreign Service (Administration) since April 2022, and previously served as Deputy Head of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires a.i. – Kenya Embassy Thailand. She is a Doctorate student of North-Chiang Mai University, and holds a Master of Arts in International Studies, Security Studies, Master of Business Administration, and BA Sociology and Linguistics. Jennifer is also an active member of several organizations, including the Rotary Club of Ngong Hills and the Kenya Community Media Network.
